How many service-area pages should a concrete coating website have?

By Logen DoielUpdated Published

Quick answer

As many as you can make genuinely useful for places you actually serve and want work from, and no more. For most contractors that means starting with the core cities where you install most often, adding pages as you complete real projects in new areas. Copy-and-paste city pages are a waste of effort and can hurt the site.

The full answer

The right number comes from your service radius and the evidence you have, not from a package size. A page for a town where you have never installed a floor has little to say that is true and specific.

  • Start with the cities that produce the most jobs.
  • Add a page when you have real projects and local detail to support it.
  • Merge or improve pages that get no impressions after a reasonable period.

Our foundation includes up to 250 strategic pages where appropriate. Those are service, material, problem and area pages, not 250 city swaps.
